This $11 million, 33,000 sf gut renovation to the Moody Towers Dining Hall incorporated the new Fresh Food Company concept to create an enhanced dining atmosphere emphasizing all-you-care-to-eat fresh, made-to-order food options with highly visible action stations. This project completely transformed a 39-year-old dining facility into a tier-one culinary experience for students, faculty and staff. This state-of-the-art facility features nine distinct servery areas such as Mongolian grill, American-style Grill, Brick Oven Pizza, a Vegan/Sauté station, deli and bakery stations. The design includes bold color choices, custom light fixtures, booth, and banquette seating as well as private dining rooms, creating a comfortable and timeless gathering place for University of Houston community.
