Tufts Medical Center

A. Raymond Tye Pavilion

Boston, Massachusetts

Beacon Architectural Associates was commissioned to design a new dining pavilion for Tufts Medical Center, which has been dedicated and named A. Raymond Tye Pavilion to honor the altruism and kindness of former Tufts MC Trustee and Governor A. Raymond Tye. Centrally located in a leftover courtyard between the main atrium lobby and three wings of the Hospital, this glass encased, skylit seating space provides 144 seats for employees, patients and visitors to sit, eat and socialize. This dining pavilion fills a longstanding need for Tufts Medical Center to provide a quiet and restful place to escape from this very busy urban hospital environment.
