The design of new locker facilities for Boston University Women's Soccer and Lacrosse teams are two of many locker room improvements successfully analyzed and executed by BAA. Situated in the basement of Boston University’s Case Center, previously the school’s largest workout facility, both the soccer and lacrosse suites include 31 wooden, open-fronted lockers, a common lounge space and adjacent facilities. The design also provides shared meeting room, trophy cases, seven showers, three toilet stalls and a drying area before entering the carpeted locker room. The Coach’s space, near the team suites, is designed to accommodate a total of seventeen coaches and is comprised of a locker area with lounge, private shower and toilet rooms. The locker room improvements not only provide a comfortable place for athletes to prepare and recover from practices but also foster a favourable environment for team building.
